2018 Washington Symposium and Poster Session
The National Center for Science Engagement held the 2018 Washington Symposium and Poster Session on March 15th and 16th, 2018 at the headquarters of the American Association for the Advancement of Science in downtown Washington, D.C.This meeting convened experts in science communication to help educators in high schools, colleges, universities, non-profit organizations, national parks, public media, libraries, museums, and other informal education institutions to share their work and experiences with increasing public engagement with science. Values-based Academic Leadership: A Retreat For Agents of Institutional Change and Transformation
The National Center for Science and Civic Engagement held the Values-based Academic Leadership Retreat, on September 15-16, 2017 in Chicago, Illinois. The retreat brought together leaders and change-agents interested in strengthening leadership that is rooted in educational values and mission.
